Some days I walk into my office knowing exactly what I need to do; other days direction is not so clear and I have a long list of tasks competing for my time and attention. Many are of equal importance and I know I can't accomplish all of them, so often without any strong intuition I simply choose one task and start working.
Beginning is what matters. A project or chore will not be finished unless we start it. Today I added new names to my database and synced it with my phone. Finally, I just did it, and now I won't be caught without the names and phone numbers of the newest members of my real estate family. Will that make me thousands of dollars? Not today, but one thing I know for sure is it will not cost me big time when they are not there at a critical time. 
I am appointment free until later in the afternoon, so today I'm catching up on the more mundane activities associated with a career in real estate. The list is long and I know it will never be completed, but gosh it feels good to check off a few of those old optional chores.
