January is typically a slow month in real estate so I'm off to Spain and Egypt for some rest and relaxation plus a little education and adventure. I'll be back soon refreshed and ready to help my clients with their real estate needs in 2009.
I'm looking forward to a long-planned vacation, and I'm looking forward to having a profitable year in real estate too.
There will be pockets of opportunity for qualified buyers and realistic sellers. I anticipate an uptick in sales during 2009 based on the number of my buyers who sat out 2007 and 2008. Several have already called me this new year and said, "This is the year we have to buy."
