Malaga Cove is one of the most historical neighborhoods on the Palos Verdes Peninsula and one of the most charming. There is interesting architecture, big ocean and coastal views plus it's the site of my favorite Palos Verdes beach. (Those are my grandkids resting after an afternoon of boogie boarding with Grammy!)
RAT Beach is a great place for children to play, and I'm fond of parking my car in the lot above the beach and walking along the sand to the Redondo Pier for breakfast. Round trip is approximately five miles, so I can indulge in the breakfast of my choice guilt free! It's a lovely way to spend a morning in Palos Verdes.
